Article 1 - Purpose

These Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationships between BookMov SARL and its clients for the provision of private hire vehicle (VTC) transport services.

Any booking implies the client's unreserved acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Article 2 - Booking

Bookings can be made via our website bookmov.fr, by phone or by email. Any booking is considered final and binding upon confirmation by BookMov.

The client undertakes to provide accurate information when booking, including: pickup address, drop-off address, desired date and time, number of passengers and any specific needs (baby equipment, accessibility, etc.).

BookMov reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking in the event of incomplete or incorrect information.

Article 3 - Pricing and Payment

Prices are quoted in euros including all taxes. The ride price is communicated to the client before booking confirmation. Fixed-rate packages are set in advance and are not subject to change during the ride, except for route changes requested by the client.

Accepted payment methods include:

  • Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Bank transfer (for business accounts)
  • Cash
  • Online payment at the time of booking

In the event of late payment, late payment penalties at the prevailing legal rate will be applied, as well as a fixed indemnity of 40 euros for recovery costs.

Article 4 - Cancellation and Modification

Cancellation by the client:

  • More than 24 hours before departure: free cancellation, full refund.
  • Between 24 hours and 2 hours before departure: 50% cancellation fee of the total amount.
  • Less than 2 hours before departure or no-show: full amount due.

Modification: Any booking modification is subject to availability and may result in a price revision. Modifications must be requested at least 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time.

Cancellation by BookMov: In the event of force majeure (extreme weather conditions, strike, major breakdown), BookMov undertakes to offer an alternative or a full refund.

Article 5 - Waiting Time

Airport transfers: 60 minutes of free waiting time are included after flight landing (real-time tracking). Beyond that, a supplement of 1 euro per minute will be applied.

Other pickups: 15 minutes of free waiting time are included from the agreed time. Beyond that, a supplement of 1 euro per minute will be applied.

After 30 minutes of additional waiting with no contact from the client, the driver may leave the meeting point and the ride will be considered a no-show (full amount due).

Article 6 - Liability

BookMov holds Professional Liability Insurance covering transported passengers.

The client undertakes to comply with safety rules aboard the vehicle, particularly wearing the seatbelt. BookMov disclaims all liability in the event of non-compliance with these rules.

BookMov shall not be held liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control (traffic jams, road accidents, weather conditions, etc.).

In the event of an item left in the vehicle, the client has 48 hours to contact BookMov. After this period, BookMov does not guarantee the return of items.

Article 7 - Rules of Conduct

Passengers undertake to:

  • Not smoke or vape in the vehicle
  • Not consume food or beverages likely to soil the vehicle
  • Respect the integrity of the vehicle and its equipment
  • Behave courteously towards the driver

Any damage caused to the vehicle by the client (soiling, degradation) will be charged to the client. A minimum cleaning fee of 150 euros may be applied.

Article 8 - Complaints

Any complaint must be sent in writing (email or mail) within 7 days following the service.

In the event of an unresolved dispute, the client may refer to a consumer mediator in accordance with Articles L.611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code.

Article 9 - Applicable Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation and/or execution shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Paris, unless otherwise provided by law.
